About
Created to help disabled teenagers express themselves, DisLit is dedicated to providing an open-minded platform for teens to advocate about their disabilities through writing. We are determined to help every youth amplify their passion for writing and literature by quickly publishing your submitted pieces on our website. All genres are excepted and there is no word count or page length requirement. At DisLit, all stories are welcome.
We know how isolating having a disability can make you feel, but DisLit aims to reduce the disability stigma. Disabled people with a passion for writing are encouraged to submit, as well as anyone who feels that they've been impacted by a chronic illness (physical or mental).
We encourage all to submit and we will provide you with free feedback on your piece(s) in 72 hours or less. There is no fee to submit, and we hope to get your work published quickly. Please contact us if you have any questions. We want to empower all that have been impacted by sickness and provide a platform for disabled writers to be published with no barriers.
